Hmmm.

You can do some pretty neat things in Lightroom. I followed the directions in the book I’m learning from and tweaked a picture of Madison from her grad. I’m thinking using the presets in the program are a little over the top but I wanted to make it obvious as to what can be done. I actually think I’m going to print the second one just to see how it looks on photo paper:

Edit: This one’s probably better, right?

Edit 2: Here, I made the whites of her eyes less pronounced. I think it looks more natural this way. Thoughts?

Hi, it’s Donna from Squam. I came back to read your blog because it seems like we have so much in common. Hope that;s ok. I wish we’d gotten to know each other while we were there. It’s so hard to meet people in the *real world* that understand the NEED to make art, ya know?. Anyway, I’m sorry you’re having a rough time. i’ve been having a lot of that lately. It’s time for me to start using my lightbox too or I’ll end up curled up in the closet for the next 5-6 months (only half kidding). would it be ok if I email you privately? I’d like to ge to know you and some of the stuff about me I’m not real public about.t I’[ve met some good friends online so I thouught it was worth reaching out to see if you wanted to chat :D

Hi Donna. I’ll be totally honest here, you can e-mail me any time you want (Sunny@SunnyCrittenden.com) but I am notoriously bad at e-mail and I can’t promise I’ll always get back to you in a timely manner or go tit for tat because like I said, I am truly horrible at e-mail. I realize some things for some people are best left private, but I really am better at replying to comments than e-mail. Get out your lightbox! We were supposed to start light therapy LAST month so it would be in effect this month because it cumulative!
