Intuitive Lens

So Thea e-mailed me on the weekend and said that during one of her meditations, she was thinking about me and then she realized that I’d signed up for her online class, Intuitive Lens, for January and that since that class was essentially the same as her Spirit Sessions class that I took in person at Squam, it probably wouldn’t be a good fit for me. It would all be stuff I already know. She said that next year at Squam she’s hoping to teach an intermediate class and that hopefully that one will also turn into an online workshop like Intuitive Lens did. She said she already talked to Michelle from Squam and she said I could get a refund of my class fee if I chose not to take the class. (But she said I was absolutely welcome to still take it if I wanted to.)

I told her that I probably wouldn’t be going to Squam next year because getting the funds together just for me this year was hard enough and that getting the funds for both Blake and I would be next to impossible and my mom doesn’t want to go (:o() but that I hoped that her class would be available online so I could take it because she’s the best teacher – of anything – that I’ve ever had.

Then I e-mailed Michelle and got a refund and that’s that.

Having said all of that, I *HIGHLY* recommend her class to anyone wanting to figure out their DSLR. Thea is a joy to learn from and an amazing person and not only will you come out of it knowing how to use your camera, you will come out of it feeling confident about your photo taking abilities. I promise.

Here’s the link to the class and please let me know if you’re taking it!

So I was in the living room talking to Blake and I saw this cardboard flyer sitting on the floor for something called the Maclaren Art Centre and they offer a photography class on Mondays, in Barrie, starting next week. I wish I’d have known about that before I signed up for the one in Orillia (45 mins away) because it would have been closer and on a better night. I’m hoping they’re going to offer another class either in the winter or spring because I would like to take it and maybe Alex would take it with me.

Anyway, something to keep an eye on. I definitely need to do something in the winter so I don’t go mental though, I just have to find out what that is.
