After 16 years of semi-dutiful service, my mom’s van has finally given up the ghost and was disassembled today. Since a lot of people who come to my site or who read my Live Journal really liked my mom’s van, I thought I’d post pics of what my mom & John did with it today. My mom says she’s not sure what she’ll do with the pieces, the edges will have to be made less sharp to do anything with them, but there was so much blood, sweat, tears and money put into that van that she thought they were worth saving.
