You’re attitude about the things going on in your life is disgusting. The beauty behind the concept of the blog is that you have every right to say what you feel, and I respect that. I’m not telling you to be any different, or to stop writing. I’m simply expressing how completely ridiculous I find you to be.

I know this is probably the least of the crappy feedback you get from putting yourself out there constantly. I just wonder if people like this ever listen to what they are saying, and hear how absurd they sound?
Liz – never commented on your grammar – that was others – nor would I as my grammar sucks.
And yes, what I said was definitely not a nice thing to say, so you caught me in a technicality.
However, I can’t stand people on the internet who feel the need to post something rude on someone’s personal blog.
I think if people were more open and ready to share their life experiences then we would have a lot less bad things in this world.
If you find it so disgusting and ridiculous, don’t read it and definitely, don’t comment on it. (especially with Sunny as you are bound to get picked on as you have!)

Liz is not the person who made that original comment. That was someone named Jeni. I think the back and forth here is a misunderstanding by two people are both here sticking up for Sunny. Everyone shake hands or I’ll start posting pics of my junk. And then Sunny will have to make a post about how retarded I am. And I KNOW she has better things to do than that ;o)

Criticizing a typo in a negative comment without criticizing the hundreds in your positive comments really just makes it seem as though you can’t handle the negativity. Perhaps you should take a more private approach to publishing the aspects of your life on the internet?
I think it’s sad that you are happy with the state your life is in. Clearly this is the case, because it would appear that all you have managed to do about it is complain.
For example: You don’t have a reliable car? Enter a contest! Count on winning! In fact, base your recovery on it, even though you know there’s a chance you won’t. Spend your entire day dedicating time to this contest instead of looking for a job that would allow you to make a car payment. Oh, of course, you can’t work, because you’re agoraphobic. Never mind the legitimate work from home opportunities that people with the same disabilities have managed to take advantage of.
Your life is pathetic, and you have a bunch of excuses to explain why. Instead of wasting so much energy convincing yourself and others that you have problems because of your problems, get off your ass and actually do something about them.
For a few of the people that have commented thus far? I never said that I respected Sunny. I said I respected the concept of the blog. I realize that I don’t have to read it, just as none of you have to read my comments. If you step back and look at what is going on here, you will realize that by all of you commenting on my choice to express my thoughts on a public forum, you are doing the exact same thing you are criticizing me for doing.

Accusing me of being a hypocrite does not invalidate my argument, or make me wrong. If that is what you feel, it’s certainly your right to express that.
If it is fair that you can make judgements about me, based on what I have written, then surely it is fair for me to do the same.
I never said it wasn’t. In fact, twice now, I’ve welcomed you to stick around and comment all you like. I’ve been doing this for ten years now, I’m well aware of the fact that by putting myself out there the way I do, I’m putting myself out there to be judged by people like you. And by allowing comments, I’m opening myself up to hearing about it. It just goes with the territory.
Jeni dear, the lack or respect you showed was for the blog. You said she had a right to post and then told her not to and said she should move on and not write about things she was thinking about. Oh and I did comment on your choice to express your thoughts so incompletely here and never said I wouldnt do that, like you did. I am pretty sure that this is not a public forum but a forum made public by a specific owner. Your attack on Sunny’s comments came first to by the way. So using peoples response to your attacks to justify them have kind of put your cart before the horse.
I should have guessed this was about the car tho, because you attacks on Sunny are non-specific and dont address any of the actual arguments that came up about the contest and the way it was run. You opinion obviously is to silence the questions rather then fix the problems.

Okay, SO! What a weird post for someone to make a comment like that. I mean, yeah, you’re the kind of person that people either love or hate, and yeah, people are going to say shit like that to you… But why on this post? I mean, seriously, there was hardly any opinion in it… It was just, “so, I had surgery, and here is where I am now” not even, “the doctors sucked and they were out to get me and they were offensive and they did their jobs poorly and something else that someone could disagree with”.
Perhaps it’s the mentality of waiting until your prey has gotten weak to attack? Leave a nasty comment when (she thought) you weren’t in a feisty mood?

Let me make this more simple for you guys.
Sunny has a blog, and it’s public. She allows anyone to comment on the contents contained within. This is an open invitation to share my opinion with her. As she herself has admitted this, and as opinions are not facts, I don’t feel that I need to justify my comments.
However, I would like to point out that I never said that Sunny should stop writing, nor did I say she should move on, or refrain from writing what she feels. I simply suggested that, based on her frequent complaints about the problems in her life, she actually do something about them. Because in my opinion, based on the way she represents herself here, she is allowing herself to be a victim of her circumstances.
I have no issues with any of you posting responses to my comments. I only take issue with the fact that several of you seem to believe that it’s inappropriate for me to express my opinion simply because it’s negative, when it seems to be perfectly appropriate for you.
For those of you confused, the only reason I chose to post my initial comment where I did was because it was the most recent entry.
Since it would appear that my comments were received by the person I intended them for, I really have no other reason to continue to visit here.

You judge Sunny based on what she chooses to write about. I’d hate to even try imaging how you are judgeing Dean Koonts or Steven King.

I wonder if Jeni understands mental illness. If her post was anymore ‘bootstraps, bootstraps, bootstraps!’ I would have choked on the sentiment. Wait, I think I’m choking now.
To break it down for you, Jeni. Its not easy to fix your brain. You can’t just say ‘Yep, today I’m gonna be fixed, I’m gonna go out, work from home/etc, do all the things other people say I should do to make myself better, and my life will turn around’ and expect it to work. It takes baby steps, and many times it takes baby steps in the wrong direction, or even circles, and yes Sunny put many of her eggs in the car basket, but it actually did her good in the long run, whether she won or not. For you to say she’s not doing anything just proves that you are missing the point.
I would just like to point out to Balyn that Dean Koontz and Stephen King write fiction, not autobiographical content in a blog which is meant to be judged by the reader. It is therefore completely irrelevant how I feel about them.
I would just like to point out that jeni is still here and still justifying.
